ambivalent

Someone came up to me recently on the street saying that he had seen me with the guys at a recent gig and said that he felt 'very ambivalent' about us. He said that he 'neither liked us nor disliked us' and he said he 'didn’t clap once' or experience 'any emotion' one way or the other for the band throughout the whole performance. He then went on to say that he 'would never again come to one of our gigs', but if we happened to be at a pub that he himself was at he would stay 'because he would be too comfortable to move'.
